Year 9 Camp 2013

Students again experienced the delights of Year 9 Camp despite at times challenging conditions with the weather. From the student feedback that was immensely positive, there were hundreds of complimentary comments

Stubbers Site

The chosen venue for the Year 9 Camp 2013 is Stubbers Adventure Centre in Upminster, Essex. This is the first year Fulston Manor will have gone to a purpose built centre with such amazing facilities. Students will be doing 13/14 activities during the week such as kayaking, Canadian canoeing, raft building, bell boating, wobble boarding, tunnelling, archery, climbing and a high ropes course. All this whilst catering for the entire year group and sleeping in tented accommodation.

Many of the activities are water based but all require the ‘can do’ attitude that we are trying to develop in students ahead of the important Key Stage 4 challenges that lie ahead. The week, whilst challenging the students to their limit, will also be thoroughly enjoyable.
