Dancing Duo Set To Take The World By Storm

Cromer student Yasmin, and Rosie from Stanhope House , recently took part in the British Street Dance Championships in Bedford and were thrilled to take first place in two Hip Hop Street Dance competitions. The smaller of the ‘crews’ involved seven young girls and the larger one involved dancers mainly aged over the age of 12 and so, with both girls only being 11 years old, they were privileged to have danced with both groups. Both girls practice every night after school and are dedicated to their favourite pastime, joining their new dance school, Statement, which is based in Sittingbourne. Yasmin and Rosie are firm friends in and out of school and thoroughly enjoy each other’s company. Talking at the same time they said “We’ve qualified to dance in the Duo World Championships in Amsterdam next October so can’t wait”.
