Fulston Manor School A Fulston Manor Academies Trust School

Sports Day

The annual Fulston Manor School Sports Day was held on Wednesday 19th June filled with
enthusiasm and healthy competition among the four houses: Cromer, Hales, Morrison and
Stanhope. The event showcased the athletic prowess and team spirit of our young athletes. Despite
the cloudy morning, the sun made its appearance in time for the afternoons thrilling events.

The day was a resounding success, with each House displaying incredible effort and sportsmanship.
Morrison House emerged as the champions of the lower school, thanks to their consistent
performance across various events and Stanhope were victorious in the upper school competition.
However, all participants should be proud of their achievements and the spirit they brought to the
competition. A special mention to Blake Gates (Stanhope) who broke the Discus record, which has
been held since 1982.

The sense of family was palpable throughout the day, as students and teachers came together to
support and cheer for one another. The camaraderie and unity among the Houses created an
atmosphere where everyone felt included and valued. The PE department all commented that this
was one of the best Sports Days they had been a part of.

A huge thank you to all the staff and Sixth Form students who helped organise and support this
event. We look forward to another year of growth and achievement in our school community.
