With over 70students anticipating places at universities of their choice and many others having already secured employment, the overall standards at the end of Year 13 are pleasing, especially when it is borne in mind the hugely complicated journey this cohort have had through education. This cohort were awarded TAGs for Year 11 and so this series is their first public examination results. All students should be justifiably proud of their achievements.

Executive Headteacher, Susie Burden, described the results as pleasing. “It is always satisfying to see so many young people achieving their ambitions and being enabled to progress on to the university or career of their choice. I am particularly pleased that considering the national suppression of grade boundaries to pre-pandemic levels that we have had similar proportions of students achieving A*-C grades than in 2019 and have a higher proportion of students achieving A*-B or equivalent grades than in 2019. Huge congratulations go to all of the students who richly deserve the success they have achievedand thanks and great appreciation to all of the dedicated and hardworking staff who helped the students get there”.
