GCSE Results Day 2022!
Following on from those who collected their Post 16 results last week, this year’s Year 11s have opened their results this morning for their GCSEs. The cohort have had an incredibly turbulent time and we are so proud of all that they have achieved. Executive Headteacher, Mrs Burden, emphasised that all students should be very proud of all that they have achieved. Overall the results are very pleasing and a good reflection of what students can achieve with hard work and dedication to their studies.
Although it is difficult to single out individuals for the excellence of their results, as grades alone cannot reflect the progress made by so many, the following are amongst those who have achieved outstandingly well this year:
Louis Ashford (6x grade 9s, 1 Dist*, 1 grade 8, 1 grade 7)
Madeline Atkinson (2x grade 9, 1 grade 8, 3x grade 7, 3 x grade 6)
Fraiser Beckham (4x grade 8, 3 x grade 7, 1 x grade 6, 1 x grade 5)
Katie Chawner (9 x grade 9s, 1 x Dist*, 4x grade 8, 1 x grade 7)
Daniel Douglas (1 x grade 9, 1 x Dist*, 5 x grade 8, 1 x grade 7, 1 x grade 5)
Ava Holland (1 x grade 9, 2 x grade 8, 4 x grade 7, 2 x grade 6)
Oliver Larkin (2 x grade 9, 2 x grade 8, 2 x grade 7, 1 x grade 6, 1 x grade 5)
Aimee Moultrie (1x grade 8, 1 x Dist*, 2 x grade 7, 2 x grade 6, 2 x grade 5)
Taryn Marsh (1 x Dist*, 4 x grade 8, 2x grade 7, 1x grade 6, 1x grade 5)
Dylan White (2 x grade 9, 3 x grade 8, 3 x grade 7, 1x grade 6)
Mrs Burden stated “It was wonderful to see the students this morning and to remind them of all that they have managed to achieve in the last two years. Students are now embarking on really exciting next steps from joining the hugely popular sixth form to apprenticeships and College courses, we wish them all the very best for their future.”
