Year 10 Hales student, Phillip Bird, has recently completed his Bronze Level 1 disco dance exam and passed with honours. Taking place in Teynham Village Hall Philip achieved an amazing 98 and 99 out of 100 and said “ I was very shocked when I heard the scores. I didn’t expect anything near to those marks”. Phillip has been dancing for many years and also competes in Street Dance competitions as well as Ballroom. Whilst the speed of Disco is his preferred genre, the slowness and beauty of some of the Ballroom dances are firm favourites. It’s only a matter of time before we see Philip on Strictly Come Dancing so watch this space……………..
