Cromer student Owen spent the weekend practicing and performing his acting skills ready to send off a tape to a TV production company who are interested in casting him as a character called Kai in a new 13 part comedy programme for CBeebies. Owen has been part of The Avenue Theatre Performing Arts Youth Group, CREATIVEdge, for 3 ½ years and admits “I’m not a sporty kid. I love acting, dancing and singing and look forward to spending every Saturday rehearsing and learning new skills. I was thrilled to be asked to send in an audition tape and will keep my fingers crossed they like what they see”. The recording went well and Owen submitted a tape which included him singing an Adele song and playing the guitar to show his versatility. We all wait with baited breath as to the decision…
