Three year 10 students recently took part in The Tenner Challenge which was a four week national program run by the Young Enterprise. The boys were given £10 to start-up their business idea and Ben, Jake and Henry decided to run a tuck shop after school. The students bought their sweets wholesale and then sold them off, making a profit of £42.00 which was presented to Katherine Cordrey from Demelza Hospice on Thursday 8^th June. Mr Turley, said “The boys really worked hard at this challenge with marketing and selling their items. They gave up time after school to run their shop and enjoyed the whole process. I am very proud of what they achieved”.
