We are pleased to be able to offer individual music lessons at Fulston at competitive rates, through our dedicated and passionate team of professional peripatetic teachers.
Lessons are delivered weekly, in school, with a maximum of 33 lessons each academic year. Parents and carers are asked to encourage students to practice regularly outside of school hours and ensure students arrive promptly to their instrumental lessons.
Students learning to play a musical instrument are expected to take part in our many performing arts activities throughout the year. These include, but are not limited to; FMS Orchestra, Jazz Band, Choir, Samba Band and various other ensembles. Students are also encouraged to take part in other external musical activities run locally in Swale.
For certain instruments, small group lessons may be available. Parents and carers must liaise with the Head of Performing Arts before any changes to lesson durations or configuration are made.
