Morrison student, Cameron, had a day to remember when he took along his Japanese Spitz puppy to the world renown Crufts competition. Cameron, 11, and 9 month old Dottie took first place in the ‘Best Puppy’ category for Japanese Spitz and were awarded with a huge rosette. Cameron said “ It was a fantastic day but very, very long. Dottie behaved so well and I was so proud that she got the award. Thankfully though she waited until after the judging and awards presentation before she jumped into a water bowl and got a soaking. That would have been really bad. She is a lovely fluffy puppy and is my favourite out of the four we have. Her Mum, Wren, also competed and came fourth in the veteran category. It was the best time ever!”. Cameron has been an annual visitor to Crufts since he was a little boy but now takes more responsibility with the dogs so takes Dottie to training classes every Monday.
