Hales student, Spike, is riding on the back of a recent writing competition where he won £500 of Bluewater vouchers and a meeting with a literary agent. He has now had a homework project shared via Facebook by a company who were very impressed by a advert he had created. Given the task of ‘creating an advert for a product’, Spike set about filming and making the 80 second commercial for Wonky Veg Boxes and his Dad thought it was so good he sent it to the company. Miss Norman, Spike’s Citizenship teacher, who set the homework was equally impressed saying “the is exemplary work and I am so proud of Spike. He is only in Year 8 but this is way beyond what I would expect to see at this age. He will be getting top marks for this work”.
