ESport Tech Club Battle Super Smash Bros
A number of students have begun to enjoy an exciting way to spend some time, after school, by taking part in the Fulston Manor School Esports Tech club. This has led to the students playing in the Digital Schoolhouse Super Smash Bros qualifiers which took part on Thursday 3rd March against other Kent Schools in the Regional final.
Super Smash Bros is a game which challenges the players to fight their opponents on a small stage, using skills and strategy to win. Most of our players have been keen followers for a number of years with Ryan Eckersley and Jay-Jay Adlington being top players in their field. The club is run by 6th Former Owen Craycraft, overseen by Ms Comer, and helped by James Barrrett and Skylar Annor-Cole. James said “Some of us play every day and we can play solo, duos, teams of 3 to 4 or even up to 8 through the game’s multiplayer feature”.
Sadly our team did not win against their worthy opponents but the students are looking forward to next years’ tournament where they all hope to have increased their skills and progress further in the matches.
