Best. Match, Ever! Well that was the comment from one Year 7 boy who had just watched the incredibly competitive staff netball match on Tuesday 11^th February. There was a definite buzz in the Sports Hall at lunch time as an array of teaching and support staff put their netball bibs on and took to the court. As I write my report on this match I would like to say that it was a hard fought contest but, with a final score of 14-2, I’m afraid the ‘Greens’ were the outright winners. However, the ‘Purples’ were gallant in their defeat and everyone posed for a friendly photograph afterwards. A grand sum of £97.07 was raised towards our charity of the week, Help for Heroes. Thank you to staff and students who played, organised and watched.
